Vivid Aussie Kennels and Pet Sitting Pet Sitting Services
Policies
- We require that all pet vaccinations be completed through a licensed Veterinarian and proof is required and kept on file and updated yearly.
- It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all previous bite, aggression, and health history of their pets. It is also the client’s responsibility to disclose ALL possible safety hazards in and around their home. If a pet care provider of Vivid Aussie Kennels and Pet Sitting is bitten or exposed to any disease or ailment received from the client’s pet(s) the client will be responsible for all costs and damages that may be incurred as a result. This includes the owner of Vivid Aussie Kennels and Pet Sitting, employees, and independent contractors. If a pet care provider of Vivid Aussie Kennels and Pet Sitting is injured or exposed to any disease or ailment received from hazardous conditions in the clients home or property, the client will be responsible for all cost and damages that may be incurred as a result. This includes Vivid Aussie Kennels and Pet Sitting, employees, and independent contractors. It is the client’s responsibility to provide a safe and hazard free environment for pet caregivers as well as their pets.
- Vivid Aussie Kennels and Pet Sitting will not refund monies paid, if a visit is not able to be completed due to no fault of the sitter or company, due to a dog bite or dangerous situation.
- You will need to contact your Emergency Contact to complete your sit, if Vivid Aussie Kennels and Pet Sitting is completing drop-in care. If your pet is being boarded at our boarding facility, it is your responsibility to have a secondary contact, to pick up your pet, in event they are a hazard to other pets in boarding and cannot be controlled.
- Thermostats: Please leave your thermostat settings within a normal comfortable range. If the house temperature is outside of a comfortable range, we will adjust the thermostat to ensure the health and comfort of your pet(s). Please make sure all air conditioning and heating units are in good working order and leave instructions for use. Please leave information for whom to contact if the heating/air conditioning malfunctions.
Cancellation policy
Daily dog walks (visits which recur on the schedule weekly), Drop-in visits (visits which are not recurring regularly) and Daycare:
- Visits must be cancelled 24 hours prior to scheduled start time in order to avoid being charged in full. There is no charge if you cancel with 24 hours advance notice.
Pet Sitting (defined as multiple daily visits for more than one consecutive day), Cat Sitting, Overnight service (in your home) and Boarding:
- Visits are subject to a 14 day cancellation policy. If cancelled within 14 days of the start date, Client will be invoiced and responsible for 25% of the total invoice for booked/confirmed services. If cancelled within 7 days of start date, Client will be invoiced and responsible for 50% of the total invoice for booked/confirmed services. This also applies to services that are cut short, for instance, if the Client returns early and cancels remaining services. Any cancellations made to a service the day of a booked service will be invoiced in full.
