About us!
We are a Veteran owned and operated business.
Vivid Aussie Kennels and Pet Sitting began as a dream of our owner, Kayla. We hoped to find care for our own pets and didn't find anything as unique as our care.
We own three Australian Shepherds- Cody (6), Ariel (6) and Ace (2 1/2). We have 4 children who range in age from 11-24.
It is as important to us, as it is to our customers that we have coverage for all of the unexpected occurrences that can happen.
We are bonded, insured and all employees are background checked.
Our Owner is CPR and First Aid Pet Certified and our employees are continuously learning.
Our hope is to bring a wonderful experience to our families, to have a lasting relationship and to have us become part of your extended family.

While you're away
We currently offer boarding in our home; we try to limit this to one family's pets at a time. However, there could be circumstances where we have multiple depending on the time of year.
We also offer Pet Sitting Services in your home. Drop in Visits, Dog walks, cat care and Pet Waste yard removal.
Our care takes place in our home or in yours. We give your babies one on one time and cuddles, while you're away. Lessening their anxiety of a big boarding facility, with lots of animals and noise.
We follow your instructions. If you allow them on the couch, so do we. Sleep in the bed? We do also. Have peace of mind that your pets won't be locked in a crate all day. They will have room to run, in our large, privacy fenced in backyard.
We care for pets in the North Lakeland, South Lakeland and surrounding areas.
Services
We offer:
- A FREE Meet and Greet prior to any first-time appointment, is REQUIRED.
- We have an App where you can book care, after your meet and greet. No waiting for a text reply or having to call. Everything can be handled in our app.
- Dog and Cat Boarding Services, -in our home. These book up quickly- Starting at $50.00 for the first pet and $25.00 for each additional- This takes place in North Lakeland only.
- Drop in visits in your home (1-3 times per day, as needed)-Starting at $25.00 per visit for 30-minute visits-Additional time can be added. (North Lakeland and South Polk)
- Extended visits for pet care and making sure your home is okay, while you're away- (Overnights) starting at $125/night-This will cover 9pm-7am ONLY! if your pets need care during the day, drop in visits will need to be scheduled.
- Doggy Daycare-Small group play-Starting at $32-This takes place in North Lakeland only.
- Dog walking-Our GPS dog walking shows you exactly where we walk your pets.
- Pet Taxi- We can accommodate to and from the vet, as well as home drop off after our Boarding services-starting at $10 North Lakeland.
- Airport drop off for pets going on flights.
- Cat, Dog, exotic animal care.
- Pet Waste yard removal
- Pet Transportation-Do you need to have a pet transported, out of state? Out of the County via vehicle? Our rates start at $1.00 per mile (to and from the location-back to our home)
- Our Professional Pet care employees service North Lakeland, South Lakeland and surrounding areas-Please inquire about other areas.
- ***HOLIDAY'S- WE CHARGE $10/DAY FOR THE WEEK OF HOLIDAYS (WEEK OF THANKSGIVING IS CHARGED MONDAY-FRIDAY) OR A MONDAY HOLIDAY WILL BE CHARGED FOR FRIDAY-MONDAY***
